Rental Details
The ODFA have two aircraft available for rent, a Cessna 150 and a Cherokee PA-28 180. Our rental rates are competitively priced to make it more affordable if you are building hours towards another license rating. Being outside the more conjested airspace of Calgary you can be more quickly in the air paying for air-time rather than sitting on the ground. Club members can book the aircraft on the A/C Booking & Flight Plan page.
To rent an aircraft you must be a member of the club, with dues paid up, current on aircraft type and in good standing. A checkout ride is also required before renting. Information to join the club and the required documentation are on the Join the Club web page. The rental rates for the club aircraft are adjusted from time to time to keep pace with changing fuel prices. The rental rates below are effective as of June 2011:

Aircraft Performance
The aircraft specifications provided below show the general performance of the aircraft. These numbers should not be relied on and during your flight planning you should use the flight manual and reference the performance curves at the proper temperature and pressure to determine the flight characteristics of the aircraft.
